About Paul

I love selling people on homes and living in Montgomery County.  With three children, I know how a home is not just a house but a neighborhood and lifestyle.  I'll treat you like family- friendly and competent...looking out for your best interests.  I'm an active advocate of buyer representation.  And my listings sell quickly for a few reasons- I set a higher standard for myself and in selling your home, a standard other agents have come to depend on and trust.  Always a hard worker, you can be assured I'll keep in touch and on top of things.  "I take pride in my high percentage of referral business."

Accomplishments

Paul has lived and worked since 1983 as a full time Realtor in Montgomery County MD. Cerified Residential Broker and Associate Broker with RE/MAX Realty Group. Platinum Club member.  He has in the past also managed a local real estate office for 5 years.  Has experience with buyers and sellers in all price ranges and market conditions.  Prior to his real estate career, he received his BS in Business and Economics from the University of Maryland, is a Veteran of 4 years in the US Army Security Agency, and has worked for international corporate companies.  Has been married to Paula since 1973- with 3 now grown children, two boys and a girl.  All three have now graduated from college, with one in graduate school at present.

Paula received her real estate license a few years after Paul, when the children were older, and has been Paul's sales and marketing assistant in the family business.  She met Paul at Penn State, where they were both attending, and graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Community Psychology from the Penn State Capitol campus (Harrisburg, PA).  They lived in Asia for 6 years (Okinawa, Taiwan, and Singapore) and have moved quite a few times in their travels.  While raising their children, Paula volunteered at their schools, sports activities, and neighborhood associations. We moved to Maryland to "grow roots"  with our children.   

Special Interests/Hobbies

Real Estate takes up most of Paul's time, but he is also active in the local Chambers of Commerce, the Montgomery County Board of Realtors, and local city and county business and political issues.  He often swims, keeps fit at the gym, occasionally golfs, has real estate investments and partners, and is quite familiar with the quality of the local schools.  He has been an active spectator at many of his childrens sporting events.  Paul has traveled extensively in Asia and Europe for business and pleasure.  He can speak Chinese Mandarin.  He is also a recently certified scuba diver. 

We have 2 Siamese cats.  Our family has developed a love of travel, cultures, and are "foodies" too. We all also love photography and enjoy sharing our adventures. Paul is happy to say that he and Paula have made many lasting friendships with their real estate clients in the the years they have lived and worked in Montgomery County.
